PTA Resources

We have way too many people clamoring to be PTA Officers at our school!” – said no local PTA ever.

Taking on an Officer role with your local PTA is both terrifying and rewarding. Your PTSA Council is here to support you and provide guidance whenever you need it. Most of us have served across many ranks for Trumbull Schools PTA and welcome your feedback and requests. Our proverbial ‘door’ is always open. Your primary role as a PTA Officer and Member is to support your school, its children and its teachers. It is invaluable work. Contact us directly: If we don’t have the answer, we will find it for you.

Non-Profit Status
As we move more and more toward online purchases and agreements, vendors like Amazon and Paypal (among legions of others) require proof of tax-exempt status. If you cannot find your documentation, please contact the CT PTSA via the following email address: As a PTA organization, we are all subordinates to the CT PTA parent plan, titled PTSA Connecticut Congress. CT PTSA can provide you with an affirmation letter, affirming your school PTA’s non-profit status.
